You couldn't tell my E46 was left outside for the last 5 years if you tried. Like I said, just keep it waxed. It's easy to see what cars weren't taken care of and ones that were not.

Interested in these - part #?

Also, did you get 135i fender liners or just cut into the existing? Looks like there's a faint punchout where the ducts should go on the 128i, but it could be my imagination.

I can snap some pics of the duct (Not an super effective one, but my goal was to make it as OEM as possible)

I just cut into existing liner by first laying it on to the liner and tracing the shape. Followed by cutting it slightly larger than traced size, with Dremel tool. The ducts are holding up good (Went through bumpy city roads & cruised at 90+ mph) so far.

The ducts are semi-stablized when they meet the fog light grills on the bumper, as it kind of slides onto the grills. However, for added security, you could hang it with a zip-tie through an existing hole on the bumper carrier.

Part numbers are:

51-74-8-046-327
AIR DUCT, BRAKE, LEFT

51-74-8-046-328
AIR DUCT, BRAKE, RIGHT

You can find them on Schmiedmann (Total shipped price was ~$75, and it took them about 2 weeks as they are not common items to be sitting on the shelves I believe).

I had no luck on finding those parts anywhere within the states, wouldn't even show up in getbmwparts catalog.

Cleaned the 1'er inside and out, which was much needed. And finally got around to installing my JB4. Running on map 1 for now, hoping to throw on the VRSF cat-less DP this week or next.

Finished the fenders. The blue really pops against the BSM, but most the time it reminds me of a slightly darker SGM. Can't wait to get started on the bumper and then the rest of the car.

I had just got it clay barred, some correction and waxed. I was expecting rain so wanted to enjoy it clean for a few extra days. The cover isn't intended for long term storage. But I don't have a garage since I moved to DC.

Installed M-sport wheel and got my AA headers running smoothly over the weekend. Also gave the car a bath!

That wrap looks fantastic! Can I ask what brand and where you got it?

Matt, don't you wrap Tobias...

I'd have to drive up there & peel it back off myself, and would be obligated to take your wheels back home with me to teach you a lesson... :P

Arlon Gloss Thundercloud Metallic. I got it from Metro Restyling. Here are their other metallic wraps. http://www.metrorestyling.com/Arlon-...m-s/361746.htm

I think the real key to a successful wrap is picking a color that looks like an oem option. The metallic effect helps it even more. Only reason I'm wrapping is because it was cheaper to wrap the whole car than to just paint 3 body panels, and a new color for a while is nice.

The wrap is a gorgeous color, love the metallic in it and can't wait to see the whole car done and out in the sunlight!

Just picking on Matt cause that carbon black is also a great color and rare enough I'd hate to see it covered up... (stern look...)

Mine usually does too, but since this is her daily driver...it made her smile. I sold my Audi last week and am making the 135i my next project.
