Pirelli P Zero Runflat
Not looking for the "get rid of the runcraps" advice. My wife drives the car as well and I'd hate for her to have to deal with trying to plug a tire or slime it on the side of the road. Has anyone tried the P Zero? The price is about the same as the RE050, but as with most other RFTs it has double the tread wear rating. The reviews on Tire Rack and Discount Tire are favorable as well.

If you're talking about the UTQG ratings please remember that those can not be compared across brands. Each company does their own testing to arrive at the results they do. They are only a useful tool when used when comparing within the same brand of tires.
The comparable summer version of the Pirelli run-flat tire will not yield any significant mileage increases over the Bridgestone.

I put PZeros on my 128 about 4,000 miles back and they are great. Very good handling, wet or dry, and quiet. For a RFT the ride is better than the OEM and the Tire Rack deal could not be beat. Highly recommend.
