Rain-sensing wipers
I've noticed that the rain sensing wipers turn off every time I shut off my baby beemer, on my previous cars the wipers stayed in the automatic mode. Is there a way to make them permanently on until I switch them off?
also, @ the rain, need more sun!

Yep, as the post above shows, you want them to reset each time you turn off the car or else it could come on when you don't want it to and have your wipers get damaged.
Someone I know had it on a Ranger Rover sport and it didn't reset and they brought it through an auomated car wash and it bent one of the arms.

ah well, just need to get used to it, i don't use car washes anyways, hand wash all the way, just bought a simonez (spello?) pressure wash for winter use, to wash under carriage when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Don't want that salt and road grime to stay on my car for extended periods.
