Orca is a nasty mess. I think about running through the car wash, but then again, it will wear off in a day.
The seat warmers are working so well though, I want to drive her into my living room and watch TV (I could put the top down, it would work). amy! |

I had -10 this morning as well. The really painful part was that I was out with my dog and he really didn't care.

The poor car is not liking this cold weather. It doesn't want to move quickly from a cold start until it has had a minute or two to warm up just a little. Fortunately the heater does work pretty well once the engine has warmed up.

It's a downright frigid 78 degrees in downtown Burbank right now.
Mmmm, I love shorts and sandals in January sorry to rub it in, but I had to...

I agree - I was talking about just getting it rolling. The engine is very sluggish at first when it's cold. I usually baby it until I see some temperature on the oil gauge (and in cold temps that takes a while!).

I have to say I really don't hear too many creaks and rattles from my 1 when it this cold. I can remember the noises and sounds that some of my other cars would make when we got this kind of weather.(G35,Accord) Our cars have a pretty rigid structure.
With that being said, it is too effing cold out! |

Minus 2 here right now. Car was parked at the Amtrak station for 3 days, and picked it up there last night, power steering was making horrible noises until the car warmed up.

Minus 15 here this morning. It is actually up to three above now. It's supposed to be in the 20s tomorrow. It will feel like a heat wave.
One of my tennis-playing buddies is in south Florida right now. I have been ignoring his phone calls to me. |
