Compliments for providing service

BMW didnt want to service my car for an oil change so I went to another service here in Germany.
Never have i had such a compliment about my car till I got my keys back from the service tech. after my oil change.
The service tech kept going on and on about what a pleasure it was to work on my car and how awesome a car it is.
LOL.. I was kinda suspicious after such a compliment that i started to wonder if he actually took the car out for a spin when i wasnt watching! .
Odometer was the same, so Im guessing he just really enjoyed my car! haha.
Next thing to do is check for stains .. lol

I think most techs really love cars and working on them. The 1 is a stout little beast and this tech obviously has good taste.

The dealership I bought my car from refused to do an oil change on my car as well so I went elsewhere. I'll never go back there again. I dont understand why they would turn down business and be so rude.

they will refuse to do so if it is less than 1 yr or less than 12000 miles. Im just talking about the free oil change. Not sure about paying out of pocket to do so. This is through experience. Took my car there at 3k/ 9 months.

You can certainly pay for it out of pocket before the scheduled service date.

Yea, i did exactly this before the 18k km mark(which i thought id get a free oil service from BMW) and when I asked for the service they said no. Not till 30k km do they do it.. But they said they dont pay for it at that point either.. LOL.. BMW thinks you dont need an oil change till 30k km.
