FS: OEM Bluetooth Retrofit Kit

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I pieced this kit of OEM parts together myself to try and retrofit Bluetooth to my 135i. Included is a used TCU (84.109149615-02), new Bluetooth antenna (6928461-00), new antenna mounting bracket (6912160), new cupgraded Hands Free microphone (84316938762), new voice command bypass jumper (693755901) and a used overhead switch panel unit including the Assist switch (6932827).

This *should* be everything needed to retrofit Bluetooth to an E90 or later chassis (and likely any others that use the MOST bus). However, I was NOT able to get it working on my 135i. I may have screwed up the swapping of the MOST cables, or the TCU may need programming. Also, I have been told that this MAY be a Euro TCU. Either way, I am giving up and sticking with a headset. This is a great deal for just the overhead switch and antenna.

NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES OF FITMENT ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. I *think* everything is here, but it is possible another part may be needed. Do your research, there are dozens of threads on this subject including:

Note: the overhead switch panel is from an E90 3-Series. The grey color is *slightly* different from that of the grey on the 1-Series.

All together, these parts have a retail of over $900. SOLD

I was going to attempt the same thing but found my 09 wasn't prewired for bluetooth. I'm thinking i'll have to go the mobridge route

Hmm, I thought all the NA 1-Series were prepped for Bluetooth...Check your trunk under the liner for a black connector with two fiber optic cables running into it. Should be in a black piece of Velcro wire wrap next to the TCU/MULF location. If you have that, you should be prepped for BT.
