weird... i'm deciding between these and OZ SL's. Need something in 19 inch. After looking at the dood with the black 3 series, i called *******change or whatever. Seems kinda shady though. He told me his computer is showing that the wheels weigh 21 pounds or so for the front, and 23 pounds or so for the rear! I said how is that possible for 19's that are cast. He said "its low pressure" cast.
Seems suspicious, however he did say I can call on monday to verify with Customer svc. I will. If those babies are less than 26 pounds, I am definitely adding them to my list. The Velocity CLS are retailing at about 200 bucks more -which sucks if they are the same things. However, at least with those the weight is stated clearly at around 25 pounds. Big dog, can you verify quality, match to real csl wheels, and weight? Also, any pictures esp. closeups? thanks |

By the way, are you crazy? 19s in Houston? They'll last all of 15 minutes the way the streets and roads are torn up here. |

I drive all over the city and the roads are constantly jacked up, especially compared to Europe or other parts of the US.
I'm not even sure that the 19s are that exclusive anymore - I live downtown and every Saturday I see about 20 or more Chrysler 300's with 19 and 20 setups. I guess it's still fairly rare on the BMW, though. Anyway, I'm getting 18s. Maybe you could consider getting a better rim in an 18" setup that will still look awesome and be exclusive. That's just my two cents... |

I have looked at hundreds of pictures while doing my research over the past 2 days. There is no doubt in my mind that 19"s will give the more aggresive look that I really like.
If you're going for 18's, good for you. It will be cheaper to replace tires and maintain. Only suggestion is don't go for a huge deep dish or mesh style. I love mesh styles, but if you're going 18, you really need something with linear spokes [like the csl - good choice] because that makes it appear larger. Another option can be the hartge classic reps on ebay. a package by dtm autowerks for around 1500 with tires seems pretty hot to me. I was considering that as well, and you can use bmw caps on it. Size is really important to me though. If you look at 18" bbs lms on the e90, and then compare it to 19", it is day and night. I would rather go for a cheaper 19" then go for 18" bbs lm (19" BBS LM is my dream wheel). |

They have an aggressive 19" staggered setup and do offer tire options. I have a few months until I order mine, but thats who I will be ordering mine through.... |

Yes, with tires. In fact, the free shipping "may" not be available if you don't buy the tires from them too. It doesn't say.
EDIT: By the way, I saw your avitar. Good luck in the big game next Sunday. I'll be routing for you guys. |
