Bimmian Headlight Reflector Covers (on Titanium Silver 135i)

Sup guys, bought the Bimmian covers, and in case you wanted to know what they look like, here's some pictures on a shitty camera phone. Sorry that I couldn't do any better

The last 2 photos -- took pics of how the hood, fender, and cover all come together. Wasn't really digging the fitment of it. Could be caused by the fitment of the hood and/or fender themselves, not sure, not too concerned about it anyway.

With the lights off, I think it looks great, very happy with it. With the lights ON, it covers the corners where the amber is, but it seems like it just redirects the amber light to the visible area of the headlight. Doesn't give my 1er the Euro look that I was hoping for, but it kinda looks cool though... I don't really mind. Altogether, I'm satisfied with the $125 purchase, not crazy about it, but I like it. Gives the car a different look. Have a good one!

Here's a vid I took:

Nice pictures. It would be perfect if the fitment was done a bit better, but still looks good. How are they attached?

Thanks for the pics.

My hood and fender didn't come together well in the first place (If I remember correctly), so this may just be a specific case of my car.

They literally give you some strips of double sided tape, and you put them on the reflectors, then just put them on. When I first opened the package, I thought I may have turned stupid because I thought there was a much more complex way of attaching it that I wasn't comprehending. Turns out there's no problem with just taping it, apparently.

Hmmm they don't look as bad as I thought they would when I first saw them available for purchase as Bimmian. I think this will go fine with an coded amber delete as our cars are TiAg anyways, I guess it does share similarities with the Euro lights.

With the car off, it definitely has the Euro look, which is awesome. Car on, you would need the amber delete. Do you know how to get that done, by the way?

Well, I'm pretty upset. Installed it 4 days ago using the double sided tape provided, and one side has fallen off already. I didn't notice until this morning, and that piece is long gone. Just a heads up if anyone purchases these: make sure they are installed perfectly.

You need to clean the surface with denatured alcohol and then use 3M automotive double sided tape(sold in big rolls cheapest at autozone). then I would use tape over the entire surface area. I held on a roof spoiler with this method and it stayed on at speeds of 120mph~ on my miata. also on my rx8 I had eyelids for over a year with 0 problems. prep is key!

Good call. Would have been nice if they mentioned ANYTHING in their (lack of an) installation guide. All it said was "Difficulty: Easy! Anyone can install"

In the process of emailing back and forth with Scott H, a customer rep from Bimmian. First attempt, he offered a new set for $65 shipped. I expect to pay nothing but shipping cost, since this is their fault...

They should send you a free replacement set or this thread could give them a bad reputation.

They wouldn't budge past this: a replacement set for $65 shipped. I tried.
