Spring on the way...ordered Perf Exhaust.....
With Spring in the air and my tax refund in the bank....ordered the perf exhaust from my local dealer. Got a great deal on the price thanks to a good relationship with the parts manager.
Now the 135 will sound as aggressive as she really is! If I find time, I'll install it this weekend. |

Drone is minimal for me it only occurs when the car is lugging at too high of a gear in/around 3500 RPM

Minimal drone at 2k rpm. You will love it, have your windows rolled down when you are in a parkiong garage, the sound is friggen awesomely aggresive.

Minor drone while cruising between 1700 and 1900 on the highway with the top down. None with the top up.

Mine has minor drone at around 3k rpm. Even in hot-as-hell summers, I refuse to roll up the windows. The exhaust note is music.

Coming from the CP-E full TBE on my last car...to the BMW Factory Sport that i had installed prior to the closing on my 09 demo i just bought. I like the exhaust, like the tone, like the look of the larger diameter pipes vs the stocker...but unless you are going to put a BMW CF Diffuser or the ICarbon or other diffuser on the IMO the exhaust looks out of balance because it sticks out WAY to far. IMO BMW should have a mandatory note to perspective buyers that this exhaust was designed to look in balance with the accessory M CF diffuser....I was pissed originally when i picked up my car when i bought it sight unseen....Never before had i ever bough a factory accessory exhaust that did not fit like OEM....the exhaust was a sour point at the closing and luckily the dealer was in agreement with me that i should of been warned on its looks as they also felt it was to long.. In fact i warned the dealer this exhaust must fit in balance..the BMW exhaust was the 1st one this dealer installed so they(sales dept) were un-aware that the exhaust was designed around the M diffuser. and actually the salesman was apologetic about the length as the tech who installed it installed it to BMW's specs thought the tips stuck out to far as well and was questioning it!!!! .....they reimbursed me some cash to have it moded to fit right because of its length...the tips can be cut or the exhaust shortened on install to fit better with the stock diffuser but IMO this should not of ... i am using the small amount of cash for the ICarbon diffuser....so in essence the money is going in the right direction....... and in the LONG scheme of things i am very happy that this had me wanting a very very cool diffuser and the car will look better than ever once it's on....3-4 weeks and will post some pictures,
