Hard stressful day, exhausted, nothing goes right, hating life. Get in car, start engine, cold exhaust growls, a little life to the soul. Curvy mountain road, apex, throttle, exit, sigh of satisfaction. Accelerate hard, engine growls, enter curve, throttle out, car digs in, ahh, small grin, hard day starts to melt away. Shift,throttle,go. Repeat for 14 miles, no cars, my car and I all alone. Smooth rhythm like a slalom skier, curve after curve, just me, my car, and the road and trees. Hard day gone, all is well, great to be alive, just me, my car and this sh t eating grin. I love my car.

Leave, traffic. Turn right, traffic. Turn on the heat, smell catless exhaust as i come to a stop with a tailwind. Ouch. More traffic

I resemble that statement!!! You live in a great part of the country for those kind of drives… can't wait to go back!

One of the benefits of living in the middle of nowhere in Appalachia. Us hillbillies are lucky in many ways.

I wish I got to hit the mountains on my drive home, but driving through the country is very peaceful. Definitely the right way to cure a bad day!

LOL, I agree, I live in Eastern KY and my commute through back roads is fun everyday.I am sad that I have to let this car go very soon.Moved from NY city for job reasons and I enjoy my car a million times better.

I live in the foothills of western NC. I also have a Suzuki V-Strom DL-1000 with over 97,000 miles. I agree that this is amazing country for drivers and riders. Low density traffic and lots of twisty roads in beautiful country.
