Winter tyres for my 128i M Sport

I have a 2012 128i convertible M sport, with factory OEM 17" wheels. I like to install winter tyres but go for 18" with 261M wheels (the standard wheels for 135i). Does any one know if it's a viable setup? Also is it possible to get 261M replicas at good prices in Canada?

I wouldn't sacrifice tire for wheel in a winter set up scenario. Why don't you keep the stock 17's and put them on some winters (will be cheaper to get 17' winters anyways) and put the 18's on for summer?
