Would you consider it, if they offer employee deals on that car? I know it's too soon for them to do that yet with the 1 series.

Employee programs are for leasing normally. I could buy one right now if I sold my current car. Payments would be easily affordable (about $350/mo) but I just can't justify having a car payment over not having one. I just paid my 325 off in December.

Then there was the M Coupe they wanted me to take home for $325/mo..

Again same reason, didn't want a car payment.

I'd be all over the 135i with AW/BK and all the CF bits I could find

Still waiting for it to show up here.
The second wait has been painful.

I got mine on June 4th and it now has 2,200 miles on it. I put 1,200 on it in the first few days, via a road trip, just to get the break-in period over with. I then put another 400 or so on it driving to and from Fernley (~50 miles) for 3 days to attend a BMW CCA performance driving school. Other then that it's been a few trips to Reno (~30 miles) and little around town driving. At this rate it'll be lucky to have 30K miles on it by the time the warranty runs out in 4 years. (I always trade-in a car just before the warranty expires)
