39-45k for a high mileage 2008 M3 is workable right now. But he is dreaming about 30k, only way to find an M3 for that is to get a salvage one.

Even so, that's 335/135 price here, and theres so many nice brand new cars over there for 30k too..

i bought an 08 e92 m3 in 2010 with 7k miles for $42,000...so two years later it should be reaching towards mid 30s....or i just got a deal of a lifetime

You got a good deal. They aren't going for mid 35's yet. I've only seen some at high 30's such as 39.5k. Check the M3 forums if you don't believe me.
