towing a 1 series...

Anyone here tow a 1 series?
Just curious what's the best way to strap the car down.

I'm used to towing an e36, where the straps go to t-bolts mounted at the jack point.

Thanks
Franklin

Just use the stock points on the front bumper.
I had to tow my 135 through about two feet of snow a couple winters ago. I used a marine spring line rather than straps because they tend to give quite a bit more and also quite a bit more progressively.
I don't like tow bars because they transfer SO MUCH vibration to the car i feel like its going to shake something apart. Although if you are doing it on your own (never a great idea) you kinda have no choice. That or a flatbed.

Anyways, I digress =P
My suggestion is to use a spring line through the stock eye bolt threaded into the stock location on the front bumper.

Good luck. Get her home safe

Franklin, our 1ers have same T-bars hooks as your E36. Remove the rubber jack pads to revel them. Hope it helps.
