Aussie take on Bimmerfest 2011 Stateside

I was lucky enough to catch my second Bimmerfest on a recent holiday to USA. Thousands and thousands of BMWs and about 3.5 hours walking around spending only seconds looking at most cars and I never saw anything twice! That's an idea of the magnitude of the show. Anyway, I finally got around to sorting out a selection of photos from the day. Unfortunately and I think unusually for LA, it was a very average, overcast and chilly day. Luckily the rain held off but the photos would've been alot nicer had the sun been out fully. Enjoy!

More photos...Not sure what the go was with the VO M1 having a distinctly AW undercoat Last couple of photos show what a little bit of adhesive black vinyl can do. I thought they were front splitters until I had a closer look!

Great pics
That re-sprayed VO M1 is errr... an interesting exercise
Wonder why they didn't do a proper paint job

This show was just one of 8 car shows / museums I visited during the trip Vinney! Saw some absolutely exquisite cars (think Duesenburgs...) on my travels and capped it off with a couple of interesting hire cars too

8 shows!? Wows. Sounds like you had a blast. You'll have to tell me more about your hire cars too
