Opened it up and had some neat. I'm not a rum expert, but pretty smooth I'd send you some, but I'm guessing not legal I gather you're having difficulty getting some locally?

this is the "real" XO reserve called planters gold -in the end it was available for € 150,--
i had one last bottle just before i got my 1M - got it for about €80,-- should have preserved it - because now you only get the €35,-- version (which is not as good as the original version) or the pyrat cask 1632 for € 250,-- which is too expensive for drinking it all up within one week

The "Pyrat" code name lives on on parts stickers.
See for example this sticker on a wheel housing part for the 1M (fender liners): "Achtung: E-82 M.Pyrat" = "Beware: E-82 M.Pyrat". Ain't bad as decal. On the part itself is indicated E82M:

The 1M. The gift that keeps on giving.
Thank you Dr. Segler, for unleashing the people at M who really understand what 'the ultimate driving machine' means (or meant rather). And who have some character and clearly a sense of humor. ACHTUNG: E-82 M.PYRAT |

PYRAT was available as vanity plate in RI up until about recently (today?).
Anyone in here pick it up? Had to settle for "ONEM". RI naming rules don't allow for a leading number :/ |
