APEX ARC-8: Official Wheel Gallery

There are a lot of members out there running the ARC-8 wheels now, with a huge mix of tire sizes and suspension setups.

Lets make this the official ARC-8 wheel gallery for the 1 series.

Feel free to just post up pictures, BUT If you don't mind, please also include the following since many tire sizes are not a direct fitment, and members would like to know the specifics of how to achieve the same fit/look:
  • Front and rear tire size, tire make/model:
  • Any required camber changes such as added negative camber
  • Any other required modification

I'll start with the BR Racing 135i

18x8.5" ET38 Front / 18x9.5" ET62 Rear Hyper Silver
225/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear
approx -1.8 degrees camber
conservative front tire size used for GTGP due to street tire restriction and lack of 245/35 availability for Dunlop star specs

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
18x8.5" ET38 Front / 18x9.5" ET62 Rear Anthracite
245/35/18 front and 255/35/18 rear
-1.8 degrees~ camber
proper front tire fitment. bumper mounting tab trimming. rear tire is undersized
245/40 is really tall. When you replace tires again will you step down to 245/35/18? I'm assuming that's why you needed to roll up front with that tire size.
Here are mine
Here are a few pictures of my wheels and the sizes to go with
Do not forget that I have a widebody kit so my front wheels are not a good fitment for a normal 135i
The wheels are:
Front - 18" x 9.5" ET 35mm
Rear - 18" x 9.5" ET 62mm
I have mounted Toyo R888 265/35R18 square on my car
I also have 275's square that I ran at Summit Point but I almost gouged a hole in the fuel filler neck - but it fits very tightly
I also run 3mm spacers all around with the 265 setup to make a things fit a little better
Any question let me know
Probably not, the RS3's don't come in that size.
I'll post these on behalf of a member on here. I'll update this post with suspension data once I can verify camber settings
Any other members want to post their photos and setup details? I have photos from a dozen or so cars but the the details on suspension settings. It would be nice to have a database of fitments
Not much of a picture, but I am absolutely loving these wheels. Those who have seen my old wheels love the new APEX ones. These suit the 1 series and BMWs in general very well and give the car that OEM plus look in my opinion.
Hi, that's my car
At this time my setup was -2 degree front and -2.5 rear, with 3mm spacers rear because the 265 was a bit too wide.
Now I removed the camber plates which were too noisy and came back to a more conservative -1.7 front and -2.3 rear all toe in. My car is around 2" lower.
I am now running 255/35/18 rear too improve acceleration, and I don't have any rub except in front on big bumps. Here below some pictures on the track:
I recently went for a new set of ARC with ET45 front and ET62 rear and I'm running them with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport (amazing tires) 225/40 and 255/35 rear. No rub of course.
This is the only picture I have so far:
I'll keep my other set of ARC (8.5ET38 and 9.5ET62) with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 225/40 and 265/35 for the track days.
Cheers
