Just installed this lip and GOt NO gap thanks to my fine tuning and PRetenders advice on trimming it! Damb it looks good ill post pics soon..

Just noticed to WS1234 that u have a 325i Manual transmission?? and u live in so cal?? is this true

I got it from the guy named Mensfat for 90 bucks. Believe me, when you see the lip in person, it doesn't worth $20...Nasty finish and fitment.

One from ebay. I'm telling you that almost every Hartge style lip from ebay is made from fiber glass and doesn't worth the money. I don't even want them for free cuz I may waste money on the paint job.

Im actually up in santa clarita area! I was asking cause The DYNO MEET is in need of YOUR CAR. Im pretty sure theyll even pay for it to be done..

My trusty tin snipz from my work truck! HOnestly any sharp scissors should do the job but for a more reliable and sold cut id use some tin snips. U can clearly see where u need to cut when u fit the lip on! The peice were the gap is the plastic is too long and pushs agains the rocker piece cause it is all the way back so u need to make some clearance. bout 1/4in worked great for me on both sides..

it says right in the intro they need a 325i Mt 6spd to see if the quad exhaust does anything or not so they will compare to your car!

so does my car have to be completely stock or not? I have no engine mod but just rims (and of course the lip), and the rims slows the car down a bit. and what's up w/ the free part? my chances of going will be alot higher if it's free.

I think its only 60$ BUt if you read the thread closely noone has come forward with the car they need so I think there willing to pay for it so someone will come forward..Your car is perfect the way it is..STOCK..Im sure the wheels will not make a difference..I think itd be cool if you went...They want to compare your car and LONGs car to see if the Quad exhaust even makes a difference..
Itll help u too so in the future if you do put engine mods on you would know if it actually made a difference. Im surprised KSFROGMAN has not pmed u yet..

I installed the lip from Ryan yesterday.

Without trimming it, I was also getting a big gap where the pillars end.
