Satin Black Roof Wrap

My friend has a silver 2008 135i and I wrapped the roof in 3M Scotchbright 1080 satin black. Here are some pictures. If you are in or around the St. Louis area, I can do wraps for you. Get ahold of me.

I clicked on this thread to mention that I just had my roof wrapped in black satin vinyl--only to realize it was my car!

Anyway, I couldn't be more thrilled with either the look or the work. Turned out exactly how I wanted it.

Looks nice! I have some samples of these and can't decide between the satin black or the gloss black for the roof.

I highly recommend the satin. We had the same discussion about whether to go with satin or gloss. Ultimately, there was concern that gloss would overly show swirl marks. Although, gloss may be better depending on the color of your car.

Swirl marks? Mine is white with black carbon fiber hood and trunk.

The nice thing about gloss vinyl is that you can buff and wax it, just like paint.

Looks great. I did mine gloss black to flow with the F+R windshield and the moonroof, but Satin looks great too!!!

Matte / Satin with Sunroof looks silly imo. Im going all gloss on my AW with Sunroof, not to say OPs car looks bad.
