Reset computer for state inspection?

Hi all,
My 128 keeps sending a 'not ready' for inspection code. The guys at my shop said to drive on a highway for a while which I did. I now have taken it on 2 highway trips of about 20 miles uninterrupted driving and back. So total of about 70-80 miles yet the computer is still not reset. Anyone have experience with this? My sticker expired at this point so wondering how long of a trip I need to plan for this reset to happen. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

how does one go from 55mph to 20mph without shifting?

Push the clutch pedal in all the way and wait 15 to 25 seconds, assuming one is not going downhill?
