Anyone have catless downpipes with catless/non-resonated midpipes and stock axleback? I have stock dps with cp-e catless/non-resonated midpipes and stock axleback. Right now it sounds great, with very minimal drone. I am getting catless downpipes and I have a feeling the drone will be really bad. I guess i'll have to bear with it or throw the stock n54 mids back on.

I Wish I would have seen this thread earlier. I'm gonna be flying out to VA in the morning but when I get back I'll make a quick video of mine if you guys want. I have CP-e catless downpipes with a custom 3inch straightpipe all the way back. No name brand exhaust, just customs made at the shop

sorry guys but i have to post a reply to activate my account lol but i think hands down the bmw 1m akrapovic exhaust is the best sound the the N54 engine !

If your going to put an exhaust make sure it's louder than your motor sound! This some Bullshit!

- Milltek Dual 2.5" 200cell Catted Midpipes
- Resonator Delete
- BMW Performance Muffler

bms catless downpipes, CP-e non resonanted and catless midpipes, with the stock axleback. Some nasty rasp right under 2k rpm, but other than that, it sounds awesome. What's weird is I had CP-e full catback with stock downpipes and it droned way worse than it does with the current setup. The drone is very minimal and not bad at all compared to the full CP-e catback. The clip is short and weather is not playing in my favor, but I hope to get a better video with some pulls once winter comes to an end.

Any brand midpipes that are straight-through, and a BERK Race like mine. My car has zero mufflers, and the one end resonator on the midpipe. About as light as it's going to get short of a custom turn-down setup.
