EVERYONE makes a LEFT there because the street "use" to be able to do that. It also saves time, the legal way is a lot longer in distance and has two traffic lights. Last year... after going thru the gate check in(on Base) AND making that illegal LEFT turn... they kept my ID and gave it to the Polizei standing next to the gate guard(s). No points, just a ten euro fine - cash. Gave me a nice receipt too and sent me on my way.  The Autobahn cops when they catch a "big fish" they will drive them to an ATM to get cold cash. Or... most German cops now takes Visa/MC/AMEX.

That's a good video. I still have my passport 9500xi with laser jammer that I wish I could use. I could do a stealth install with a kill switch in case they run radar detector detector. Gotta ask a cop buddy here.

Super Blitzer..
That Super Blitzer(in the beginning of the video) is scary! They said it can issue three tickets at the SAME time across multiple lanes of traffic. Wow! At least those Blitzer boxes are pretty big and hard not to see.

Blitzmarathon...
Starting today(and for the next SEVEN days!!!) the Germans are going crazy putting every cop on the roads and setting up speed traps. Especially in the cities and back roads. Be carefull.

The German Polizei set up these mobile camera units on top of the bridges on the Autobahns. The road has some white painted strips and they use three cameras(two mounted atop of the bridge) and one mounted down bellow on the middle guard rail - to video the driver. These cameras are hard to detect, especially when your driving in excess of 200+ kph! The Law says you MUST have half your tacho(speedo) speed in meters. So IF you are driving 200 kph, you need(at least) 100 meters of safe distance. IF they catch you with less... it can be very expensive(and or) you can loose your driver's license for a few months. Lets see how good you are at detecting the cameras... Autobahn A73, direction Nurnberg near Bamberg/Hirschaid area

And some mobile speed cameras(Blitzer's)...
city Blitzer generate 2M in speeding ticket revenue! sneaky! "free take one"! (your photo!) HAVE vise clamp... will travel! VW Caddy is a favorite van for the Polizei to use... camera's are built in the back of these vans. Blue VW van is the Blitzer in this 30 kph construction zone. Normally this road has a 70 kph limit. Your speed is... latest trend... mount the Bliter's UNDER the guard rail! This is really hard to notice/see.

Swiss Polizei Blitzers...
How it's done in Switzerland(CH)...
Sofort Kasse = You PAY on the spot! Most of the times the cops only take cash!! at 0:26 you can see that I got flashed doing the speed limit(120 kph) in Switzerland. Just lovely!!
