Awesome. At last, revealed, confirmed. Sheesh, was it too much for BMW USA to confirm with AG of the oil cooler then inform those who ordered the 135 w/Sport ?

But wait a sec - has anyone confirmed that 135's w/o sport package do NOT have the oil cooler?

I didn't order sport package with mine because the 135 already has the sport suspension tuning standard, as well as the 155 mph limiter.

I will be a little miffed if mine doesn't have the oil cooler. Why the hell exclude that on a car that has the same engine and same 155 mph limiter as one with sport package? AND - never document it officially ANYWHERE so we had no way to be sure what we were ordering.

I shall reserve my angst for my pick-up day (Tuesday).

I dont think its been confirmed with an actual vehicle on the ground, but its certainly what BMW NA told me when I confirmed that we would get an oil cooler.

Dear Mr. Valentine:

As a follow-up to your earlier inquiry, we have been advised that the 1 Series will
be equipped with the secondary oil cooler provided that the vehicle is equipped with
the Sports Package. I hope this helps.

If you have any further questions, please reply to this e-mail or contact the
Customer Relations and Services Department at 1-800-831-1117, Monday through Friday
from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Again, thank you for contacting
BMW.

W00t!

I'm really glad I ordered SGM + Terra... that combo looks GREAT.

*edit* Funny that it looks Terra in the pictures, but clearly it's RED in the video!

My SA said my car would be in production mid-March so I thought I had time to make changes to my order. So in early-March, I changed from AW to SGM but he said my car was already in production.

I told the SA I'm a bit hesitant in paying MSRP for a custom configured car and not even getting the color I want! He's pissed but oh well.

I just have to get SGM.

Ouch, that stinks. It does look really nice in SGM though, I had originally wanted SGM.

In that close-up of the front wheel - is that a hint of brake dust already? How many miles do you have on it so far? My 135i SGM is on order now, but driving a Saab 9-3 Aero and my biggest pet-peeve is keeping the damn wheels clean.. .hope it's not going to be a big problem on this car. Anyone know if we can get some inexpensive ceramic pads for this car to keep those wheels shiny??
