BMW 128i intake

Hello all.
Which intake is best for the 2012 bmw 128i. I was thinking about the AFE cold air intake. Thank you!

AFE closed box - otherwise the Silicon elbow and upgraded filter work almost as well.

Intakes are pretty much just for sound imo. Id do: better filter, charcoal delete, silicon intake boot, and space out the stock airbox. Doing this will make some nice noises

This

No proven gains from the aftermarket. Maybe add some scoops( waiting to try them if I have spare cash to throw away) with tube, filter, charcoal delete

I dyno tested a few intakes a couple years back - the AFE SI actually made 5whp+ more than the stock Box with a K&N (but carbon filter intact)

The Carbon filter removed + Dryfilter was about 3whp more than baseline, but still 3whp below the AFE. Both the stock box and modified stock box (no carbon filter) were using the stock elbow. The Silicone elbow which was tested for about 2-3whp on its own.

And BPC recently tested the Euro Airbox, and I think they found about 5whp with it.

Upload to YouTube and link here, easy peasy...

I spaced my stock box, but it was way too droney and roudy for daily use.

I used some pieces from an erector set with some longer screws from the hardware store.

U-shaped pieces to space the box

L-shaped pieces to hold the filter in

EDIT: A youtube link for some interior sound with windows open. I did some pulls a little later in the video. 4:25 is where I wind the thing out, the rest of the time is me wishing I had my summer tires on and just downshifting at dumb times.
