Clay lubes I can buy at local stores?

Are there any good clay lubes that I can buy at my local store, I just ordered a huge package online and forgot about it and my car comes this weekend so I can't reorder in time. Recommend me something nice but not too expensive

I have had good results using Meguiars NXT Speed Detailer. It can found @ most Pep Boys type stores.

With Zaino they say to just use diluted Carwash soap. Not sure if that's a Zaino Z-7 only thing but they say one cap for 16oz in a spray bottle.

Anyone Confirm/Deny?

I also use Meguiars NXT Speed Detailer.
Got it at Advanced Auto Parts.

Yup, diluted car wash solution works fine. I like to use Optimum No Rinse diluted in a sprayer as a clay lube.

I use Griot's Car Wash soap, and I mix up my usual concentration in a Gilmour foam gun. I hit an area of the car with the foam, and clay away.

I would imagine that gold class mixed on the "rich" side would work, whether you have a foam gun, or just get it nice and soapy out of a bucket.

A nice soapy, slippery mix is what it's about; that's why they call it "clay lube." That's why it just dawned on me that Optimum No-Rinse would work.

If you have auto parts stores nearby, Clay Magic sells their clay bundled with clay lube.

I still think that a nice soapy car wash mix would work, though; it would be worth a try to use what you have.

you can use a small bucket of clean car wash mix.
Works fine and glides nicely.

Pretty much any quick detailer or car wash mixed with water should be fine. You're only looking for something to help it glide across the paint, nothing more.

i use gold class car wash mixed with water and then pour it into a spray bottle... it works just fine... although you'd have to re-wash your car once youre all done, otherwise there will be soapy residue left behind on your car.
