Swapping out seats for other BMW seats?

So I know there's a couple of members who have swapped their seats to E92 M3 seats, but I had a couple of questions.

If I already have power/heated seats, is it a plug and play swap for the E92 M3 seats??

Also, has anyone seen or heard of any F8X seat swaps yet? I'm a big fan of the seats that come in the 235i and 435i

Yes, they are. You just must have the same options (lumbar or heating).

Not sure if F8x M seats will physically fit, they are quite big, and I think the electronics might be different, too. Not sure about that. I remember that some Brit has succesfully put BMWP seats in his F20, but the process was not straightfoward and required some work.
