Poll: Guys and Leather Interiors...
Do you guys drive with your wallet in your back pocket? I noticed hsiaochinsan doesn't drive with it so I tried it and of course it's alot more comfortable, but more importantly, it helps preserve the leather drivers seat!

I use to. But in the last couple of years, I always put my wallet in my front pocket now. Helps with potential back problems as I get older.

If I carry my wallet in my front pockets, it slides around in the pockets my slacks. If I'm wearing jeans, it's too tight to carry the wallet in the front pocket.

Just started carrying my wallet in my coat chest pocket or front pants pocket. It's much more comfortable than back pants pocket.

i heard its potentially dangerous to drive w/ wallet in the back pocket. i know sometimes i start to get a cramp but i almost always take it out and put it in the center console. then i always forget my wallet in the car...

This is my only gripe with my 330i so far, that there's no really good place for my wallet. In my last car (acura RSX) there was a great little tray area under the parking brake where i could just drop my wallet when I got into the car. Since it was exposed, i rarely forgot my wallet. While i was test driving e90s, i never got one with idrive so i had that little pocket where the idrive knob goes. It completely didn't occur to me that i wouldn't have this space.
It's still cold enough in chicago to warrant a coat every day, so for the time being i've been sticking my wallet in my coat pocket for short drives. Otherwise, i'll usually stick it in the center console or, if i don't have a passenger, wedge it in the gap between the seat and the thigh support. |

I have found that mine fits nicely in the space between the E-brake lever and the center console. It also fits into the space in the passenger seat where the moveable thigh support separates from the rest of the seat. Obviously this only works for SP models.
