Problems running Catless?

Sorry if this has been answered before...

Is it possible to run a system with Catless mid-pipes and not have any problems with passing emissions tests?

I have seen many people who are running fully catless and I have no idea how they do not get hassled by their dealer..

if you have an n55 your midpipes should be catless stock i believe

Agreed! Except I would be screwed if I lived in California or any other state that is anal about emissions.
