Eibach Pro Springs + Install

Hello,

I did some basic searching and saw multiple posts on the H&R springs, I found out that the Eibach give a lower drop in comparison while improving cornering/maintaing ride . Any comments?

I'm based out in Los Angeles, Ca and wanted to know if there are any shops which the forum recommends for purchasing parts and installs. I've had a difficult time finding any info on the forums.

TIA

Does the car still have the pogo feeling with just the eibach pro springs?

Please do not get the super sport springs.. your bumper will be dragging on the ground. The sport springs are already borderline street scrapers (and I have those).

The few people that I've seen get the Super Sports on this board, change them out...

This is my car on Eibachs with Koni FSD shocks. It's at 3/4" drop right now, about a month after install. I was after a subtle drop without any sacrifice in ride quality. Turn-in is quicker and body roll is reduced nicely. If you want more of a drop I'd go with the H&R.

Oh, and it doesn't have that weird forward rake I've seen on some H&R cars.

^^^that's your 1,000th post!? i thought it was generally understood that such posts must include nudity.

you're right though... your car definitely doesnt have the rake that seems so common with h&r springs, and even some other eibach installations. maybe the FSD's have something to do with it? slightly higher spring perch on the front strut bringing the front end up a hair?

Damn didn't realize it was 1,000!
It could be the spring perches on the shocks. I had an issue on my Mini that brought the rear end up about 1/2" after installing the Konis. There has been a bit of bandwidth used on message boards of cars being raised after FSD installs.

Well back to the K&W discussion before I get accused of thread hijacking again.
