Clear coat is peeling on my carbon fiber rear performance spoiler

Anyone have the clear coat start to flake off on their carbon fiber parts yet? The clear coat on my rear CF Performance spoiler is flaking off.....How can this be repaired?

Simple, Sand it down and have it recleared just make sure not to get to close to the weaves on the carbon fiber, I've recleared carbon fiber before just be careful

Did you buy new? How long ago did you get it? Perhaps it's still under warranty?

It is in the Arizona sun for about 5 hours a day. I probably should have waxed it more often but that's my fault. The spoiler is about 4 years old now.

Thanks guys! I will just take it to a body shop and have them take care of it! It isn't yellowing at all just flaking off in spots.

Yeah that'll do it, the uv rays will eat through that clear like it's candy, you need to keep carbon waxed at all times in order to protect especially if it's in the sun all day
