Rays 57 Motor Sport GE07EX for 1 series?

Hi all,

On the quest for some some wheels which not everyone runs (although I do like the VMR's etc...)

So, I am looking at the Rays 57 GE07 EX's in matt graphite:

The sizing is available as follows:

19 x 8.5 fronts (ET 44)

19 x 9.5 rears (ET 44)

Now I'm guessing these will need an arch [fender] roll to give full clearance on the rear? My car will be lowered on the Bilstein B12 kit in the next two weeks.

However, here is a Rays promo picture of a 1er Coupe running these wheels:

What tyre size would be best for the front and rear (also brand, as I know this can affect things just as much?!)

I want an equal look front to rear - I don't want one pair looking more stretched than the other, or one pair having a thicker profile than the other either!

Finally, does anyone know a company that can supply these rims to me here in the UK??

Thanks in advance!

The 9.5+44 is a tight fit on these cars with any reasonably wide rubber. The front at 8.5+44 is not an issue at all and could easily run a 225 wide tire with the proper sidewall ratio. A 235 would also fit likely but I am not sure of the availability of 19" tire sizes and aspect ratios.

For the rear, you probably want to run a 245/30/19 unless you plan on doing a fender roll. Fronts will fit with a 225/35/19 without an issue though. We sell almost the same specs!

The problem is practically no one makes a 245/30/19, Falken maybe?

You should be able to get a 245/35 or 255/30 rear to fit, just make sure you use a tire that tends to not run as wide as normal.

Yeah, both the 245/30/19 and 255/30/19 are odd sizes, unfortunately. Yokohama S.Drives and Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires are both offered in that size, albeit limited quantities.

Luckily the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is offered in 255/30/19.

Michelin PSS runs wide though.
I had 19x9 et48 with 255/30/19 Michelins and it rubbed.
