Took my boss for a drive...

He has a Corvette Z06 (when the sun is out)..

Got him to hold onto the "oh shit" handle during some solid cornering.. Four times to be exact!! I'm loving the 161's I just put on.. Still pumped, its a good day to be out tearing up the roads (and the friday before a long weekend)!! I saw his hand go up for the handle I'm like: :rocks:

He seemed really impressed with the e90..

Just wanted to share..

my boss has a '92 acura that he's now trading in for a buick. that pretty much sums it up how much interested he is in cars.

did he take you for a ride in his z06? that should be even more fun, the car is really impressive.

Thats awesome... My boss is really into cars so we understand each other well, and talk about them on the same level. Its funny, we went to lunch originally because he didn't bring one and didn't want to park the Z06 anywhere.. But everyone else here is normal civics, camry's, etc they think the two of us are nuts. I'll take a picture of our parking lot sometime its hilarious. Pretty much everyone parks normal than us two are out as far as possible in opposite corners. I angle my car nicely over two spots as well..

Yeah one of my first weeks we went for a drive in the Z06. That thing was inf'ing credible. The pure power of that car is unbelievable, and the cornering was insane. I've never gone through a corner that flat and level in my life (as well as 40 mph faster than normal!), it was a dream. And every time you step on that gas, the feeling of being put back in your seat.. And the sound of the engine, exhaust, it was... Yeah I had a permanent smile on my face the rest of the day, and the adrenaline went for another two days after that.. That car was so incredibly fast...

My boss has two of the EXACT SAME CAR! That's right, two Jeep Grand Cherokee's, different colours...maybe different years, but the same model (i.e., same bodystyle). Another boss-type guy here tried to convince me to buy a Saab 9-3 Aero as he's got a 9-5 and has been a Saab guy for a decade or so...

My boss has the 530xi and had a 750 before that. He likes my car but he's older so the 3 doesn't interest him too much. The funny thing is that some of my co-workers like my car better than his 530xi when they are parked side by side.

My boss drives a honda minivan. he did not seem too excited about my car. he is like 6' and 200 lb so he barely fit comfortably in the passenger seat. that is probably why he was not too impressed with the car.

It's funny how Top Gear and Jeremey Clarkson completely rip apart the Z06. Why can't american cars make the interior better?

My boss took me in his new S550 to lunch last week. Amazing car! I can tell hes not really into cars, just flashy and nice things. I also noticed he had already scratched one of his wheels, lol.

you gotta be careful doing that man, that could potentially cost you a few scratches from some pissed off people looking for parking spots. We all love our cars, but please be considerate to other motorists as well

Because if they did, they wouldn't cost what they do (granted, part of the cost cutting is necessary only because GM in particular is burdened with enormous employee legacy costs).

The special part about the Corvette is not what it can do, but how little it costs relative to other cars of similar capability.

That's a good way to get your car keyed.

Not where I work.. I'm out in the suburbs in a quiet technology park type area. Few people see the car, no one walks anywhere close to it. If they did half of the building is looking at the cars anyhow, there would be a lot of witnesses. Everyone knows its my car, and (knock on wood) if anyone touched it they would be in for a beating of their lifetime. I park so far from everyone no one is ever really that close to it, parking wise, and breathing on wise..

Thank you for your concern though..

I am, I leave every single closest spot to the building for them.. They could all bring two cars with them and not fill up to where the e90 and z06 are..

Cool boss. Just remember what he can do to you in his Corvette when you're in his driver's seat.

Haha, soooo true!!!

I really don't care what Jeremy Clarkson, Britney Spears, Mario, Luigi, Walter Rohrl, whoever say about the Z06, that car is absolutely incredibly stupendously wholly (insert some more words here) fast and amazing..
