You need to config the gauges for your car.

Speedo - 5 and Tach - 1 for 135i
Speedo - 5 and Tach - 2 for 335i/535i

yes i did however i coudnt get to those exact numbers, you understand?? and i emailed john from burger motorsports and he said with my issue not to go by what the speedometer says rather the number of actual movements.

So once i went by the actually movements all problems fixed!!! now they go to exactly 1,2,3 this thread will be helpful for the ppl that encounter this problem because it could happen. So just go by 5 actually movements of the speedometer gauge and then 1 movement of th tachometer gauge and bam your gauges will all be aligned (this is for 135) of course since 335 is 50 mph and 2k rpm

overall wow is all i have to say this thing is a different car i love the jb4!! Now thursday i will be installing my downpipes and map2

Don't look at the numbers then... Just count five times up with the left steering wheel controls and 1 with the right controls.

Terry really needs to send instructions along with the tune. I mean you receive it and you have no documentation, you have to search everything on forums. I know it took me a while to figure it out too.

Id say the best instructions are found here.

If you have JB4 its safe to say you have the internet, so why waste money on instructions in the box when its all laid out on the forums.

Why waste your time searching on forums when there could be an official well written documentation on the BMS website.

I'm not saying their product is bad, not at all. But they can do a better job at documenting it. Doc is all over the place in different threads, etc...
I'm sure that could help them get more customers too.

Yea luckily the bms website had step by step instructions on how to install the jb4, it made it a breeze only only took me about 40 minutes first time.

N54tech is "his" forum.

The stickies make it so you dont need to "waste time searching".

He has a very thorough install guide on the website like mentioned above. The stickies are probably the best FAQ you could ever want.

All of this info is on N54 tech. If your going to push your car to what the JB4 can make it do then you should have to browse forums an educate yourself on how it works. It's all very nicely laid out on N54 tech. One week of reading through that forum should be mandatory for people wanting to use the JB4, IMO.

It took me a little while to figure out wtf to do when I first installed it as well. Yea, could be better documented for some people. Sometimes the speedometer and tach can get unaligned. My shit was all messed up before, all you need to do is count how many times you press up/down; but you know that by now
