Couldn't find a good phone mount to buy for my recently purchased 128i so I made one.

Very inventive.
But I actually use the CD slot to record into the Music Collection.
Since you don't have Nav (and must be younger) maybe you don't know what a CD is??

Thank you and about the cd player slot(everyone knows what a cd is), it still works. (You put the phone holder mount in after you put the cd in). The cd player still works as it is intended to do so, nothing changes. My reason for this phone mount is so iI can use my phone as gps (google maps) and play music through auxilary like android auto or apple carplay without having to change the headunit.

That’s super cool! Would you be willing to make another one? Do you have a hole in the bottom for a charging cable? I’ve been dealing with my phone flying around the cabin since 2015

spirited driving and a iPhone 12 Pro Max doesn’t get along well.

I'd buy one too. Could easily take dims of my phone in it's case with calipers.

It does have an opening for the charging cable. I can make one for iphone 12 Pro Max as well, the issue is if you use a case the dimmensions change. I made one yesturday for a friend with the iphone 12 pro max and speck brand case.
