New Plugs and Coil - Timing and Help?

I've been having issues with timing (maybe some of you have seen my posts before). Could someone take a look and give me a second opinion?

3rd gear
DTC off
No kick down
(run in NT)

Grey = RPM
Yellow (above the rest) = boost
Rest = Ign1-6

http://datazap.me/u/dh58/new-spark-plugs-and-coil

Thank you!!

Looked at your log, you have shitty fuel that's all.

Your running map 5 and trying to target to much boost on shit fuel and its pulling timing out.

Back it off to map 1

Thank you.

This sucks. I've gone to BP Ultimate (ron98) from shell etc and its still looks like shitty fuel.

Put 5 litres of e85 into a full tank of 98 and see if timing improves

The problem with 98 you can't test it like e85

I've been testing the e85 and the best I seen so far is e79 so it's not only 98 that's
stuffed at the bowser

Hope that makes you feel a little better

The only way you are not going to get any timing pulls is going straight e85
But it's costly to convert

I tested with e30. The logs are much much nicer. Flat and even.

The only problem is the trims now lol.

And yeah i'd like to go e85 but it sounds like such a bitch. (and also issues with cops)

Not so much a bitch but you have to get a stage 2 lpfp and fuel it tbi at minimum
Then a custom back end flash

Around 2k with labour

But you can only run e85 unless you have your own mhd flasher with cables so you can flash back to stock bin for 98

Cops won't be a hassle you can't see it and on e85 you should pass emissions with flying colours

It can't be 2k with labor right? stage 2 lpfp is 655USD for a new build. And 'cp-e N54 Port Injection Rail & Fuel Line Kit w/ Fuel Injectors & AIC6 Controller' is 1650usd from burger tuning?

Am i missing something?

Marty is talking about a Fuel-It TBI kit, not a Port Injection kit with its own low pressure fuel rail which is capable of supporting significantly higher horsepower levels on straight E85.

I can supply a Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP for $699 AUD excluding a $100 refundable core charge.

Please have a look at Steve's TBI kits, for your application the "Bronze" kit at $599 USD + shipping charges will get the job done.

Cheers,

JD.

Cool, the Bronze kit would cost you about $950 AUD including shipping charges when purchased directly from Fuel-It, I will supply the same TBI kit for $899 if you also purchase a Stage 2 LPFP from me.

jd nailed it

The tbi is good for stock turbos but once you upgrade the turbos you will need a a Pi as
the tbi is limited and wil run out of flow

I'm running the TBI. It's fine. With the VTT stage 1 you'll be fine with TBI too.
