128i Sport → M-Sport Conversion Advice

I was lucky enough to snag a 40k mile, manual 128i Sport with Xenons recently and was considering turning it an M-Sport by getting some parts through www.getbmwparts.com. Parts list at bottom.

I was wondering whether this might increase or decrease the value of the car - assuming I documented the before and after to show that it hadn’t been in an accident before the swap.

I’m into the M-Sport look, but wanted to get some more data points/opinions so I could make a more informed decision before throwing thousands of dollars at it.

Of course, to each their own and I’ll ultimately make a final judgement call.

Also looking to hold onto this and drive it for many years if that matters.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Additional Context:
The remaining differences between my car and an M-Sport as far as I know are cosmetic since I already have the suspension, sport seats, shadowline, and 17” wheels:

Thinking about purchasing

- M Sport Front Aero Kit
- M Sport Rocker Panel Kit
- M Sport Rear Aero Kit
- M Sport Rear Spoiler
- M Sport Steering Wheel
- M Sport Shift Knob/Boot
- M Sport Perforated Leather e-Brake Handle

Total for these items would probably come out to about ~$3400 + ~$1000 for paint labor on the new panels/bumpers. Assumption is I would install all the parts myself

The original M-sport package on the 128i did not include a rear spoiler.
I think you missed the black headliner, visors, pillar covers, etc. And then there are the wheels . . .

The rest is nice if you like the look that much, but don't expect it to enhance the value of your Sport by $4,000, but it should not hurt it.
