Breyton GTS-R Tire Options
I am picking up a set of used 18x7.5f and 18x8.5r GTS-R wheels to put some aggressive tires on, but am unsure what will fit on stock M-Sport suspension without rubbing.
I will be doing 50% track days and 50% spirited street driving; this is not a daily driver for me and have other wheels if the track/road is wet. I was originally looking at the Pilot Super Sports but someone mentioned they get greasy when hot and don't last too long on track. Lots of tires available in 225/40R18 for the fronts, but not much in 245/35R18 in the rear. Can I fit a 245/40R18 on these wheels without issues? Or is there a better size with a larger selection of extreme performance summer tires? Or can I in fact get by with PSS for what I want? Thanks. |

OK... did a ton of searching/reading and it looks like I can run 225/40 up front and 255/35 in the rear without rubbing issues on a stock suspension.
Can anyone confirm this? Far more extreme performance summer tires available in 255/35 rear. |
