Crap! I need to be more selective. I just usually fill up at the local station...don't really have a favorite. Just choose the one that is nearby when my fuel gets low.

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!

I only use Shell or Mobil, sometimes the Chevron dealer by the BMW store (which is fun b/c its mainly BMW owners there filling up)

When I had my acura I was told at the dealer to not use BP under any circumstances b/c of whatever detergents or additives they use and apparently inconsistencies in what they use. Causes problems with the fuel system. I was a bit skeptical, but after telling the story to others I heard that they were warned by dealers about the same thing. My grandparents with their toyota even. No such warning from BMW, but considering the amount of people that have been told the same thing by mechanics and dealers, I stay clear of BP

Anyone else hear of this?

Shell V-Power since I get the biggest % back from using their mastercard. -_-

I wonder why BMW doesn't advertise TopTier in their manual since they were part of picking the gas. Anyway, I use the highest octane I can find at the Top Tier stations.

Here is another link to the TopTier program partially created by BMW:

Any reccomendations?
76 GAS is when you can't get the other gas. I felt the difference in all of my vehicles.

Same thing, except there are more Exxon's around.
