RACQ Motorfest 2009

For those interested (and weather permitting) this is on in a couple of days - Sunday the 28th June, at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

I'll be there (and a few other 1addicts I know) with the BMW Car Club Qld hoping to get a gong for best club display, and there should be plenty of great cars to view as well as some decent food and fashion to check out.

Worth bringing the wife/gf/mistress/kids to if you've got the day free (probably don't bring the mistress with the wife, could get rough)

I'm going to bring a bucket of mud to throw on your detailed car as I won't have time to clean mine properly.

ALL BMW,S IN THE CLUB PLEASE MEET AT NEW VENUE AT PORTSIDE SHORT TERM CAR PARK HAMILTON FOR OUR SHOW OF EXCELLENCE BETWEEN 8.30 AND 9.30AM SHOULD BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL.

Good event! Only Matty & I with 1ers but lots of other nice BMWs. Must have been ~ 40 cars.

Yer the Motorfest was cancelled, but the club had it's show'n'shine at the carpark next to Portside.

Was good to see all the different models, there were some beautifully looked after cars.

I won "best audio" on the day. Yay!
Hi-Fi Pro must be alright!! Equaliser settings as per somewhere else on this site.

I got presented with my trophy for best audio on friday night - by Jim Richards after a talk he gave to club members at Brisbane BMW! Award felt pretty lame. It's not like I put lots of effort into developing it - installing speaker boxes etc. All I did was specify Hi-Fi Pro when I ordered. Still, any excuse to meet Jim.
