DCT Drag Racing Tips???

Im planning to do a bit of Drag racing this weekend, i haven't had my car very long so i haven't done much trial and error work. Just wondering if you guys had any tips for me from your experiences. like do i start in 2nd gear even with the dual clutch? Launch control yes or no? DTC and or DSC off or on? Floor it feather it? ETC...
thanks for all the help so far with tech stuff. now its time to work on the Driver Mod.

i've got best results with dtc off (long press), and from about 1k rpm - little bit hold car with brake from start. then with half pedal acceleration on first and full pedal on second gear.

launch gave me stable but only middle result.

You just can't do much with DCT. I hit the strip a couple years ago played it with many different methods. Nothing really worked. You really can't rev the engine to get a good launch. Did launch control once, and it wasn't my best time. Best time was with DTC set to one, no launch control, foot on the brake and slight depression of the gas. You really can't increase the RPMS more then 200. Trial and error just play it, but it's just not a good drag set up....On a road course however the DCT is amazing.

No launch control, DSC fully off, take off as hard as possible without engaging it and try not to slip TOO much. Launch control on street tires spins too much to be useful.

Launch control with slicks would be fast but don't do it unless you are prepared to service the DCT. People have burned their friction plates using LC (how much / often did they use it?) with tires that are too sticky.

i've made 3.9 best 0-100kmh (0-62mph) without launch.

I'm not a drag racer but at autox I've had the best results by flooring it (ie past the kickdown) and then immediately feathering the throttle to get the rears back under control. I imagine you could do the same with the launch control.
