Here are the warranty costs. It's a bit hard to decipher, but the obvious thing is that if you have a low mileage car, it's probably not worth it.
I'm at 23.6k miles so I won't see 30k until 2017 or so. I plan to retire this car to my collection at 27k miles and will pay for the fluid changes and oil at that point. The SA said that I could get the repair program if I planned on selling the car, as it is a nice incentive for a buyer but he also reminded me that I have a 1M and that is usually enough to find a motivated buyer. |

No kidding! I don't know how people with non-US denominations are pricing out, but I couldn't justify it. I just had drinks with my former CA that sold me the car and he confirmed my course of action: drive it, do the fluids on my own dime in a year or so when I prep it for storage, and go lease an M2 with Euro delivery in early 2016.
Incidentally, he said that the waitlist for the M2 is insane out of his shop and to get in line now. I'm first out of PDX, but I plan on dropping back several spots to sync my delivery to late summer/early fall 2016. |

My dealer did this today under warranty, transmission oil, differential oil and spark plugs, no cost to me. Woot!

How many miles out of curiosity?
I would have been due based on CNS counter but didn't have enough miles according to the dealer. Annoying, but no matter. It's relatively straightforward to do all of it myself, but would have been nice to have it covered on BMW's dime. |

31,500 miles.
It did not come up when they read the keyfob, but I showed them the PDF from above in the thread. They researched it and told me it was covered. They were baffled as to why it did not come up on the keyfob, but BMW NA definitely covers it under the maintenance plan. |
