2011 128i 31k miles Alpine White on Black/Beige interior M-Sport Auto
Incident with Bambi late last year yields salvage title, see pic. Damage took out the following parts- all parts replaced, repairs completed. All new parts- list: Aftermarket steel hood Aftermarket (TMS) 1M replica cover Aftermarket 600W aux/AC fan Aftermarket Radiator Aftermarket A/C condenser BMW Core support BMW Headlights BMW Plastics- HDL brackets, rad brkts, grill duct trim, etc... BMW steering wheel airbag BMW seatbelt/tensioner BMW roof airbag Totally a no big deal repair. I manage the independent BMW specialist in Detroit and I performed the repairs in 2 days plus a day for a quick round of paint. In addition to factory installed options, also has BMW Performance exhaust BMW Carbon fiber trunk spoiler Black suede headliner/A pillar I'm well aware this isn't the best marketplace for a car like this- some people are vehemently vocal against cars that have had body (or any) repairs. Certainly I don't need to have that discussion take place on this thread, so feel free to PM me. Though let me say this much- repairs cost $3k. If somebody spent $3k on repairs to their car but they didn't or couldn't turn the damage in to their insurance company, would that make any difference to the value of their car? I'm completely aware of what the marketplace feels about cars with damage history- car is priced accordingly and price is slightly negotiable and I will consider trades- just BMWs. On the whole, if you are buying a 1er to drive it and depreciate it, great! This one starts much cheaper, therefore will save you a ton of $ If you are trying to buy a car that you can sell to somebody who knows nothing about cars other than what they see on TV, don't look at this one, cars with a salvage title are a pain in the butt to sell. As this board is populated by people who mostly already own a 1 series, if you are acting as a buyer's agent, or assisting a friend or family member, I will pay a commission to be discussed on inquiry. For the record, car now has 34k miles.
I'm so surprised how many 135s are for sale on this board compared to 128s. Every morning I have my choice of BMWs- M, 3s, 5s and a 7 and every single day, I take the 1, day-in and day-out! I've just secured a 3 stage intake manifold, I have not installed it. I will include with the car. Last edited by Certified Amateur; 08-03-2014 at 03:52 PM.. Reason: SOLD |
