I have been reading here for a while but this is my first post. I just test fitted the wheels from my e36 m3 on the 135i and they fit great. No more run-flats! I also picked up an air compressor at Lowes for $27 and it fit perfectly in the trunk. One nice thing is that it has a pressure release button so if you overinflate the tire you can let a little air pressure out without unhooking the valve. With that, dynaplugs, BMW's free roadside service and AAA I think I'll be fine.
Now I just need get a coilover kit, cdv delete and a ton of other things that I've read on this forum (thanks everyone) for starters. Anyways, here's some pics of the car are compressor. This is my first post so if no pictures show up... sorry. |

Great wheels! Thanks for the heads-up on the Lowes compressor. I'm buying one tomorrow.

Thanks everyone.
silverbullet135i, love your car too (TiAg/black). great minds think alike. Texas, I just tested it out to make sure the compressor works well before you go out and buy it. It worked great for the price and the pressure release feature work just as you would expect it to. MerlinMc, The wheels are ASA AR1's from TireRack. 18x8 and 18x9. I am not sure what SFV is but you can see part of the San Francisco Bay in the background as well as Palo Alto. |
