So it looks like the US will be getting the 328, 328xi and the 335. Not the 325, 330, 335 as in Europe (as people have been speculating for some time).
It will be interesting to see where they price the 335, if the coupe truly is moving upmarket. Also, let's hope that the ~270 hp 3.0 liter N52 that the Euro 330 coupe has will show up in the 330 sedan in the US this fall. What do you guys think? |

a) The 2007 U.S. 330i sedan stays at 255hp. b) The 2007 U.S. 330i sedan gets the 270hp Euro version of the N52. c) The 2007 U.S. 330i sedan becomes the 335i sedan with the turbo engine. My guess is "b". |

If its option 'b', then 272 Euro hp equates to about 268 U.S. hp. Its possible......... |

"3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 4-valve inline 230 horsepower, 6-cylinder engine with composite magnesium/aluminum engine block, Valvetronic system" Valvetronic, no DI. The 270 hp Euro 3.0 has DI. It wouldn't make sense for BMW to sell the 330i sedan with DI and leave the 328i coupe out in the cold. Even without having sources or talking to people in the know, it seems likely that the sedans will generally follow the trends being shown here with the coupe: 328/335 Re: the 323. I personally have always figured the 323 as a sedan only model. We'll have to wait a bit to see what the deal is there. |

Anyone else notice that they posted 5.3 0-60 for the manual and 5.5 0-60 for the automatic!
I would have guessed 5.5 0-60 for the manual and about 6.0 0-60 for the auto. I want one! |
