135i Procede USB Cable
Hey, was wondering if any 135i's have routed their USB cable through their glovebox...?
I've seen the DIY on 335i's, however I havent found any 135i's with this done.. The "hole" in the ECU box that's there for 335i's apparently isn't there for 135i's..

For reference, in this picture the little slot (left side of ecu compartment in picture; closest to passenger side) contains a hole at the bottom and it is the only hole visible to my eye. I did not see another hole. However, I will take out the dividers & inner ECU box (if 135i's even have an inner box, I did not recall noticing it when I took out the ecu) and see if I can find another hole. I've been running the cable through the window as a temporary solution

I think it's where the fan vents into the passenger compartment underneath the glove box. Just keep poking at the bottom of the hole with the cable or a coat hanger until you see it appear at the edge of your carpet under the glove box.....you will have to remove the cover under the dash to see it though. |
