135i Procede USB Cable

Hey, was wondering if any 135i's have routed their USB cable through their glovebox...?

I've seen the DIY on 335i's, however I havent found any 135i's with this done.. The "hole" in the ECU box that's there for 335i's apparently isn't there for 135i's..

Oh make sure you test everything before you put it back...I had a faulty usb cable which I only discovered after putting everything back and closing the hood. .
I did disconnect all the wires to the ecu, and took the actual ecu out. But, I swear there's only 1 hole in the ECU compartment... and it's in the first slot closest to the passenger seat...but, I did not try this hole because I know one of the holes on 335i's have an ecu fan.. I did not see any other hole in the ecu compartment...

For reference, in this picture the little slot (left side of ecu compartment in picture; closest to passenger side) contains a hole at the bottom and it is the only hole visible to my eye. I did not see another hole. However, I will take out the dividers & inner ECU box (if 135i's even have an inner box, I did not recall noticing it when I took out the ecu) and see if I can find another hole.

I've been running the cable through the window as a temporary solution

I routed a USB cable through the bottom of that one big hole in the 135 ECU box. I did unclip the ECU unit and move it out of the way for better access to the hole against the passenger firewall.

I think it's where the fan vents into the passenger compartment underneath the glove box.

Just keep poking at the bottom of the hole with the cable or a coat hanger until you see it appear at the edge of your carpet under the glove box.....you will have to remove the cover under the dash to see it though.
