The Kerscher would be the easiest to replicate.

I'm enjoying mine that I picked up in a group buy.

Seen here in the VACC option at the bottom:

So it would be pointless for Scopione to make something that already failed on the market.

Just curious would a replica of the 3d cost more than the Icarbon like the authentic products?

It most likely failed because it wasn't priced properly.

I would hope that whatever they copy is priced right. They while have zero design dollars and zero R&D dollars. All they will have is manufacturing dollars and shipping so their piece needs to be half the priced compared to the original.

Quad diffuser was priced the same as the regular diffuser. But thus the regular diffuser out sold it by such a huge amount that it wasn't even worth producing the quad any more. So iCarbon realized the return on investment wasn't worth it and they discontinued the quad.

You have to realize that maybe less than 5% of the people who decide to go aftermarket exhaust go quad exhaust, thus they are the only people on the market for a quad diffuser. It won't be worth it for Scopione to make a quad diffuser and sell 5 of them total.

I am positive the front lip will have a great introductory price since the diffuser that 15+ people ordered are getting it for 350$ + shipping instead of the 800$ iCarbon priced theirs at. But once the introductory offer is over that diffuser goes back to around the normal price of 550ish. Same thing will most likely happen with the lip.

Sorry, I meant FRP backed, covered in Carbon. Much stronger that way. The Icarbon lip is way too flimsy as it's just layered carbon.

I also agree that the other poster who said the price point was way too high for the FRP lip.

Doubt it, Scopione had to purchase a legit iCarbon front lip first which most likely just arrived or they are just working on setting up test fitting / some kind of mold. I haven't spoken to Mike since the poll closed so I have no other information to give just that I believe they need to go purchase an iCarbon front lip first and check fitment and etc. I will most likely talk to him once the new batch of diffusers come in since I have one ordered.

IDK why we would wait so long to find out whats going on. If you were the one talking to him then you should follow up and get this thing moving. If he was corresponding with you about the project then you're the 1addict project correspondent!

Totally agree on the Quad diffuser points. The fact that a quad exhaust doesn't work design wise, limits interest hence it limits quad diffuser sales.

On the splitter, while I would rather see them design their own splitter over copying the work of others. Having said that, if I were to copy a splitter I would copy Kerscher. It's simple splitter design (less sculptured) keeps the mold simple, making quality consistency easier. It also looks good on all color cars. True bolt-on if that means anything.

But a Kerscher is already cheap and available. Why not do the Hamann? I wish I had a business. I would be rich by now off of 1Addicts. And not in a shady way either.

I'll even sell them my Hamann lip to copy. I'm going back to Germany so I can easily get another one.

I sent Mike an email about your kind offer. Will see if he wants to take you up on it. If he doesn't though you should just sell the lip to me since you could easily get another one
