Tuning Software

I'm speaking with a local company (in Australia) that claims to have a tune that comes from "the same people / company that do the work for Schnitzer & Hamann".

I wouldn't be surprised if they had outsourced that to a 3rd party. That's not an uncommon thing at all.

Before I hand over any $ to a complete stranger, I'd like to be able to look into it in more detail.

Does anyone know 1) whether in fact ACS and Hamann do outsource the software work, and 2) If they do, to whom?

I've heard that ACS uses Steinbauer tuning box...
