Aluminum for me - I'm very happy with my interior. Also, if you haven't done so already, make sure you see Terra in person. It is not as orange as it looks in most of the posted pictures.

I voted (with my wallet) for walnut. I'm not a fan of aluminum with any color interior, but especially not with terra. I think it clashes - terra is a rich, warm color, it shouldn't be combined with a cold metallic trim.

i have walnut in my car, the aluminum just looks cheap. i mean why are you spending $32k+ on a car and getting a cheap part of it? doesnt make sense to me.

how does aluminum look cheaper than wood? that's the biggest crack of $hit i've heard! if anything, it looks sportier. a lot of people (m5board) put aluminum trim in their E60 M5s. that also must be because they want their $100k car look a little cheaper...

I think for this type post. It is the best post your own preference., but leave all other comments behind. Otherwise the thread will get ugly.

Just like some like auto, and other like manual. Some like Blonde and other like ....... . It is personal perference. That's all.

I prefer aluminium precisely because I like the clash of the cold look of alu as contrasted with the warm rich look of the Terra.

The only time I saw Terra in person was with aluminum trim. I also really like it because of the contrast between the two. hot and cold
I liked it enough to order it.

Ditto. I am ordering the same. Terra + Alu. I was debating Black + Alu but I am bored of black interiors.

IMHO wood is a good fit for larger cars like the 5 and above. To me the 3er with wood looks a bit too oldish and not sporty. But you should order whatever you like the best and screw what anyone thinks. It is your money.
