265/40/18 on our rims?

Hi guys I have a set of 265/40/18's and a set of 225/40/18's will they fit on my stock rims and on the 135i. Thanks guys

dealership said 255s would work. i would imagine the 265s are too much. i've not tried personally.

265/40 will probably rub.

im going 255 /30

First off the aspect ratio 40 is way too high.

Here is a comparison in sizes with the same Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.

OEM rear 245/35/18" rim 8-9.5", 9.8" wide, 24.8" tall
255/35/18" rim 8.5-10", 10.2" wide, 25.2" tall
265/35/18" rim 9-10.5", 10.7" wide, 25.3" tall.

The 265/40/18" is 26.3" tall. TOO TALL.

I got 255 rear at stock TII rims. But since its Falken i quess its close to 245. It is room for more there actualy!
