JB4 Bluetooth worth it?
Just got a USB data cable for my JB4 and I'm wondering if the BT is worth the money? $140 seems like a lot, and then another ~$30 for the app.

I already had the JB4, for a year with my 2011. Never felt like I was missing anything. So what makes it worth the extra $140 over the USB cable?

I use my Jb4 a lot and change settings and maps often, the ability to do so without having to connect it to my laptop makes it a lot easier Not to mention updating the Jb4 and datalogging without the need of the cable + ability to use your phone to monitor boost, fueling,etc... If you dont find what i mentioned worth it then the bluetooth is not for you

Just went Bluetooth from the cable.
SO MUCH BETTER USING A PHONE INSTEAD OF PLUGGING IN A LAPTOP! Plus, the Bluetooth auto-connects every time you open the app. It's seamless and just awesome. I have a phone holder and it's nice to seeing the gauges and have access to all the features without a cord.

I'd rather use Bluetooth, but USB OTG is pretty good too. $140 is too much for me to stomach for a Bluetooth adapter. Absolutely ridiculous. Should be in the $30-40 ballpark tops.

This is my issue.. knowing what goes into it makes it difficult for me to justify the price.

I know! Wish there was a feasible 3rd party solution.
